Founder Biography
Liz Davis, Founder
As number 8 out of 9 siblings, Liz started doing hair at an early age with perms on her sisters. As a young professional while majoring in Business Management she also completed beauty school at the same time. Her love for making people happy through making them feel beautiful became her deepest desire. Along with her education and now with more than 37 years experience in the salon and spa industry (half of that being within retirement communities), Liz believes that providing beauty and health services for the elderly is more of a personal reward then anything she could ever imagine.
Nearly two decades ago as a former Salon Manager for AVEDA at DILLARD'S she was further educated to recruit, train, educate and supervise stylists, nail techs, barbers, massage therapist and estheticians. Her belief is that the right individual, with the right tools, and right attitude is worth their weight in gold and those are the kind of managers and service providers she has in her salons and spas.
As a multiple salon and spa owner Liz's Salon Services of Colorado provides salon and spa services to Memory Care, Assisted Living and Independent residents. Her dream is for Salon Services of Colorado to become an industry leader in providing salon and spa services to the elderly in the retirement, rehabilitation and senior care environment. Liz has devised and implemented salon and spa programs that fit the resident's budget and needs, making it affordable to every senior on any budget.
Liz Davis has designed Salon Services of Colorado to be the beginning of a wonderful low maintenance solution for Executive Directors in retirement, rehabilitation, and nursing home environments, providing salon and spa service needs.
